(Environmental Policies and Guide of Conduct)
Since the era of Pollution, HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL has been dedicated itself to environmental preservation through the intensive efforts to comply with legal regulations, based on the Corporate Policy and Fundamental Management Policy in which our environmental consciousness are fully reflected. The "HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL Environmental Charter" was established in 2006 in an effort to work on global environmental issues and revised once in 2007. We have positioned Environment as one of the most critical management issues to our corporation, and strived to promote the corporate-wide environmental activities.
HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL Environmental Policy
The HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL recognizes that preservation of the global environment and its resources is a serious concern common to all mankind. We will strive to make the world a better place and work to enrich our societies through environmentally-sound business activities, environmental awareness and individual contributions which are in line with our fundamental business policy.
HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL Guide of Conduct:
1. Enhancement of Environmental Management
We aim to foster environmental awareness of all employees so as to voluntarily take part in environmental initiatives.
2. Anti-Global Warming Efforts
We are seeking total achievement of our self-established greenhouse gas reduction goals in line with a plan to achieve goals indicated in Kyoto Protocol.
3. Promotion of effective resource utilization in an effort to form recycling-oriented society
Elimination of landfill waste.
4. Management of Substances of Concerns
Complete elimination of banned substances from HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL products and achievement of minimum contamination.
5. Development of Environmentally Friendly Products
We pursue the development of product designs that help reduce global warming, promote resource recycling, and reduce substances of concern.

HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL Fabricating Co., Ltd. (HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL), an industry positive member in the research, development, design, production and distribution of electrical and electronic power and data solution, is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen by serving as an example in environmental protection and preservation. The associates of HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL understand this commitment, recognizing that aspects of our business practices can impact the environment in which we live and work, and are dedicated to effectively managing these impacts.
We accept it as our obligation to:
·Utilize business planning principles to establish and maintain environmental objectives and targets
·Meet or exceed all relevant governmental legislation and regulations and other environmental requirements to which we subscribe
·Continually improve our environmental performance
·Proactively preserve the environment and prevent pollution; and ensure that environmental training needs of HUAWEI STAINLESS STEEL associates are consistently met
·Fulfilling these commitments will ensure our operations and activities do not adversely affect the communities in which we operate and the environment in general
